The knitting frenzy has continued! In the past two weeks, I finished two hats, three headbands, and a whole bunch of swatches. The hat and headbands will all be donations, though I might hold one back for now since I’m deciding whether I want to release the pattern.

I’ve been swatching to attempt to knit a sleeveless top. I’ve tried a few garments in the past but of course never finished them. Most of those were fingering weight so I’m sure that’s a factor…

I’ve decided I want to use Lion Brand Heartland since it’s inexpensive and soft so I’ve been swatching quite a bit to see what gauge I match. I’m a bit off-gauge for the Tolsta Tank by Rebecca Cole (the Creabea) so probably won’t start with this one. So now I’m leaning toward the Bodega Blouse by Postcard Knits but maybe shorten it a bit, since I want it to wear with high-waisted skirts. But I’m still a bit undecided – will be interesting to see where I land!

With all this knitting, I haven’t done more than a handful of stitches on either my cross stitch or needlepoint but I’m okay with that for now. I also started playing around with some beading but still figuring out how all that works.
